Account & Business Development Manager

Pensum 80 - 100%

Your main tasks

  • Develop and grow business with existing customers across North America, understanding their decision-making processes and building long-term partnerships
  • Acquire new customers and systematically expand the company’s presence in the USA and Canada, maintaining a structured opportunity pipeline
  • Act as the primary interface between customers, management, and product teams, ensuring alignment across functions
  • Prepare quotations, respond to RFPs, and lead contract negotiations, ensuring smooth execution in collaboration with internal stakeholders
  • Monitor market trends in Pharma and Biotech to identify strategic business opportunities
  • Represent our products and platforms at international trade fairs, conferences, and industry events
  • Travel approximately 3–6 weeks per year (4–5 trips across North America and Europe)

Your profile

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a comparable customer-facing, product-oriented role; industry experience in Pharma, Biotech, or MedTech is a plus
  • University degree in Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Additional business qualification (e.g., MBA) is an advantage, particularly for candidates with a scientific or technical background
  • Strong communication skills, analytical mindset, proactive “can-do” attitude, and ability to think and act strategically
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken); conversational German is a plus
